Andrew L. Sink

Andy Sink provides guidance and strategic insight into the activities of Foundation Fund Management and will be integral to the sourcing, acquisition and financing of projects targeted for Investment . Mr. Sink is the Managing Director of Founders Investment Banking's real estate services practice. Mr. Sink formed the practice with the goal of delivering customized advisory services to owners of corporate and third party owned income-producing commercial real estate. Mr. Sink has over 17 years experience in the real estate industry, with a broad range of expertise in sale leaseback transactions, investment property brokerage and development. Before joining Founders, Mr. Sink was a partner in the commercial real estate firm Eason, Graham & Sandner, where he advised clients on industrial property brokerage, development projects and sale leaseback transactions.
Mr. Sink grew up in Montgomery, Alabama, and holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama with a concentration in real estate. He also holds a real property administrators designation (RPA) from the Building Owners and Managers Institute. Mr. Sink was recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ) in 2001 with the Industrial Real Estate Deal of the Year and was named by the BBJ to the Top 40 under 40 class of 2004. He is a member of the Compass Bank Birmingham Young Executive Board of Directors, a Board Member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), and a member of the Monday Morning Quarterback Club and Birmingham Kiwanis Club. He is also a board member of BIG Time Ministries and attends Canterbury Methodist Church.

Zane P. Tarence

Mr. Tarence is the Managing Director of Founders Investment Banking’s Technology practice. Zane has over 21 years of experience as an operator, investor, and deal maker in the technology arena, most recently serving as both the Vice President of Business Development for CTS, Inc. (an IT professional services company) and Managing Partner of Alliance Consulting, LLC (a technology VC-model accelerator which he founded in 2001). He has served as an active board member and in various senior management roles for the companies in Alliances’ portfolio. Additionally, he has an extensive background in funding, advising, evaluating, and executing transactions for technology companies. Before founding Alliance Consulting, Mr. Tarence was the Vice President of Business Development for the Boston-based publisher Houghton Mifflin, having joined the company following their purchase of Virtual Learning Technologies (VLT), which was a software and educational enablement company he had founded and led prior its sale in May 2000. Prior to starting VLT in 1997, Mr. Tarence was with IBM for 12 years in various business development, IT consulting, and management roles. Mr. Tarence is a regular speaker at national conferences dealing with product commercialization and technology value optimization.
Mr. Tarence is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University in Montgomery and a Masters in Organizational Management from Southern Christian University
David Hobbs

Mr. Hobbs is a Principal of Founders Investment Banking and has experience with a variety of merger and acquisition and capital raising transactions, including strategic purchases, financial recapitalizations, private capital placements, senior debt placements, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, and convertible preferred stock placements. These transactions span a number of industries, such as manufacturing, distribution, industrial and consumer services, retail, and information technology. Before joining Founders, Mr. Hobbs was a Financial Analyst with Robertson Stephens, where he identified, evaluated, and pursued capital structure alternatives for clients. Prior to his tenure at Robertson Stephens, Mr. Hobbs was an Analyst with Wachovia Bank's Leveraged Finance Group, where he originated and underwrote new financing opportunities and monitored the progress of existing clients.
Mr. Hobbs is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College along with a M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. He is a Board Member with Eagle’s Wings, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and providing a living and working community for disabled adults in West Alabama.
Duane P. Donner II

Mr. Donner is the founder and Managing Partner of Founders Investment Banking, with a focus on managing relationships and executing engagements for clients in our general practice. Over his 20-year business career, he has worked in and advised clients across a broad range of industries including: oil and gas services, aerospace and defense, software and technology services, construction services, manufacturing, branded food manufacturing, retail and distribution. In addition to his experience as a professional adviser, Mr. Donner brings an entrepreneurial perspective, having founded and operated a branded food manufacturing company. Before establishing Founders Investment Banking, Mr. Donner was the Managing Director of the Investment Banking division of Dixon Odom Advisors, LLC, where he advised on both sell-side and buy-side assignments as well as private placements of debt and equity.
Mr. Donner is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette as well as a M.B.A. from the Manderson School of Business at the University of Alabama. He has been and active Big Brother for the past 7 years and currently serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alabama. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Growth, as well as several civic and faith-based organizations that include the Rotary Club of Birmingham, JH Ranch/Outback America and the Church of the Highlands, where he founded "Cooking for the King", a local outreach ministry.
